keffiyeh, keffi-yes.

If you're anything like me, chances are these Keffiyeh babies have been filling up your insta-feed as well.  True? Let's discuss.

According to Wikipedia, keffiyeh is a traditional Middle Eastern headdress made of square scarves of cotton, commonly found in arid regions (regions lacking in water) to provide protection from sunburn, sand and dust.  And since Summer isn't really Summer without epic proportions of both sand and sun(burn), I feel like any kind of clothing made out of this beautiful print fabric is more of a need than a want. Plus there's the added sun protection aspect, which actually makes this clothing beneficial health-wise - Right?

Just so that you know that you are getting the real deal, Copenhagen label Cecilie Copenhagen started off by transforming two keffiyeh scarves into their (now) signature pieces, Shirt-O and Shirt-V plus shorts.  And, just in case you want to continue wearing keffiyeh in the cooler months as well (let's be honest, you do!), the label has also produced more winter appropriate shirts and jackets. THANK YOU.
