erica llorico - the scoop list.

Meet Erica - a Wellingtonian at heart who currently resides in Sydney.  By day Erica works in the market research/insights space of a recruitment company, by night, she runs The Scoop List.  The Scoop List is an online source which features and profiles Erica's pick of Australian fashion and lifestyle bloggers, while also providing bloggers with an outreach and referral service.  And just to further confirm that she is on to a winner with The Scoop List, Sydney based advertising agency William Hast has recently announced that it will be sponsoring the site - So, if you haven't already, check it out - It's just going get bigger!

How do you afford your wardrobe?

Work. Plain and simple.

Who are your style icons?

"I have a diverse mix of style icons;
Elin Kling - her style is effortlessly cool, I love it. She's also a great role model and inspiration. She's talented, hard-working and always stylish
Olivia Palermo - every time I see a picture of her, I want her entire look. She always does it for me!
Sara Donaldson - Sydneysider - Blogger behind Harper and Harley."

How do you keep up with the latest in fashion?

I get inspiration from Instagram, bloggers, magazines, my friends and of course my boyfriend Tipo - They are all individually knowledgable in fashion and trends and they’re not afraid to express themselves with their own style. My friend Emma, who runs, is also who I get my fashion advice and knowledge from.

Check out the E approach here.

What items are currently on your wishlist?

"Amsterdam-based label Filling Pieces - I am obsessed with their Low Top Croc Embossed sneakers in beige. I'm also still looking for a perfect pair of black ankle boots for Winter (I am running out of time, Winter is nearly up!) I am, however, going to be in New York in Winter so I will still get use from them if I get them soon. Can never have too many shoes!"

What item could you not live without?

I can’t live without a pair of black skinny jeans. I can wear them to work, I can wear them when I go out, I can change them up and have ripped knees or cuffed - Pretty much a staple for me!

What was your thinking behind starting The Scoop List?

In my spare time, I’ve always loved browsing fashion and style blogs that I can keep on my reading list, and I constantly bookmark those with quality content. This is where the idea for The Scoop List came from - I wanted a place to share, highlight and feature those blogs while at the same time giving brands an informative source to find their perfect match. In my eyes, it’s not all about the amount of followers one has. It’s important to note the quality of the content, active engagement and other little things that help keep a blog standing out.

What are your goals with The Scoop List moving forward?

I’m looking to constantly add more bloggers to The Scoop List, keep the talent coming. At the moment I’m focusing on Australian bloggers, maybe later on I’ll add more from around the globe. Moving forward I want to hold blogger events under The Scoop List name, bringing together bloggers and brands to mix and mingle.

While you make it clear on your site that The Scoop List does not manage blogs, is this a direction you could look at taking in the future?

Who knows, with more planning and growth, this may be an option one day!
